Milwaukee, Wisc. - The Tampa Bay Rays look to even the World Series tonight, turning to right-hander Drew Rasmussen in Game 2 after dropping the opener of the best-of-seven against the Milwaukee Brewers. Rasmussen has been one of Tampa Bay’s most reliable arms this postseason, as the Rays try to avoid heading home in a 0-2 hole.Tampa Bay’s offense will be under pressure to break through early after being largely held in check in Game 1. The Rays have leaned on timely hitting all October and will look for more of the same to back Rasmussen.Defensively, the Rays plan to lean into what has carried them all season — crisp infield play and aggressive shifting — to cut off Milwaukee’s power and limit extra-base hits in the gaps.A victory would send the series back to St. Petersburg tied 1-1 and restore home-field confidence for a Rays team seeking its first championship in franchise history.
