ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First/Gray News) — For about 40 years, KFC has exclusively served Pepsi beverages — but next year, that’s set to change. On Thursday, the fast food giant said its thousands of U.S. locations are switching to a partnership with the Atlanta-based Coca-Cola Company. The change starts in January 2027. In a statement, the company called the move “another step in the brand’s ongoing effort to refresh its menu and beverage platform and create more reasons for customers to visit.”Catherine Tan-Gillespie, president of KFC U.S., said both brands have “deep consumer love.” “This partnership is about more than what’s in the cup,” she said in a statement. “It is another step in our work to evolve KFC, strengthen our restaurants, menu offerings and create a more relevant experience for today’s customers. Coca-Cola shares our ambition for the future of this brand, and I’m excited about what we can create together.”Dagmar Boggs, The Coca-Cola Company’s North America presiden
